We ensure that even the rarest and most overlooked subtypes of childhood cancer receive the attention and resources they deserve.
Each year, we receive millions of dollars in requests from doctors and scientists for much-needed funding. Our Medical Advisory Board of oncologists carefully evaluates each proposal following a thoughtful approach based on a multi-faceted rubric system, and only the highest-rated projects are funded.
Federal research dollars are scarce and increasingly uncertain. PCF fills that gap directly — funding the highest-need, most time-sensitive pediatric cancer research so critical work does not stall waiting on government support. Doctors and researchers are more reliant than ever on foundations like ours to keep their life-saving work moving.
